ALEGRIA FESTIVAL
HIGH ON JOY ...
This year, Alegría returns more magical than ever — for the very first time as a two-day festival. We gather in our new home, the sacred grounds of Bambu Indah, where rivers, natural pools, saunas, and jungle beauty invite us to celebrate in harmony with the Earth.
Across three immersive stages, world-class artists from around the globe and the Indonesian archipelago will merge their rhythms and traditions. From tribal soul to cosmic beats, sacred songs to deep basslines, Alegría becomes a living prayer where music meets devotion, dance meets spirit, and diversity becomes our greatest teacher.
We are an alcohol-free and family-friendly festival, because joy itself is our medicine. Children are not just welcome — they are honored as the new souls guiding us forward. Families will find spaces to play, learn, and grow together, while the wisdom of indigenous voices and global artistry inspires us all to listen to the land, and to one another.

The Journey of Two Days
SURROUND BY THE EARTH & JOY

BLOOM DAY
Celebration in Full Color
Wednesday, December 31 2025
We begin in full bloom, with life-affirming music from all over the world. Bloom Day carries us on a journey — from soulful global sounds to vibrant, dance-filled energy that grows wilder as night unfolds.
As the moon rises, we transition into deeper rhythms, leading to a midnight explosion of joy: a collective celebration under the stars. Bloom Day is about expression, diversity, and the beauty of coming alive together — a feast of color, sound, and movement where every step is a prayer of celebration.

ROOTS DAY
Grounding in Connection
Thursday, January 1 2026
On the second day, we return to the roots — to the essence of what binds us. Roots Day invites us to slow down, to honor tradition, to listen deeply. Through ancestral music, earth-based practices, and communal rituals, we ground ourselves in the wisdom of the land and in each other.
It is a day to reconnect with balance, to nourish family and community, and to remember that joy is not only in the heights of celebration, but also in the grounding embrace of the Earth. Roots Day brings us back to what matters most: belonging, presence, and connection.

Where the Land Holds the Rhythm, and the People Bring the Soul
Some places carry a pulse stronger than any stage could hold — places where creativity, culture, and community move as one. Alegría is such a place: not built on trends, but born from joy, reverence, and the courage to reimagine.
Here, artists and families, dreamers and seekers, gather not to escape the world but to shape it — dancing, learning, and celebrating together. What begins in these moments doesn’t stay behind; it ripples outward, shifting hearts, inspiring movements, and carrying the joy we create into the greater world.

Why Bambu Indah?
Because this land is alive. Bambu Indah is more than a venue — it is a living artwork woven from bamboo and tradition, standing in harmony with jungle, river, and rice fields. It is a place where nature is not backdrop but co-creator, inviting us to remember what it feels like to celebrate in connection with the Earth.
Here, treehouses turn into dance floors under the stars, natural pools become sanctuaries of renewal, and pathways wind into secret corners of wonder. To gather at Bambu Indah is to return to something timeless — where Balinese spirit and global community meet in a shared rhythm of joy.
